Console Repair - Rebuild Game Boy (OG) with new case and backlit screen

Details to be published within the next week. In short: an interactive class, where we will provide Game Boy (OG) boards and backlit kits with cases for participants. We will walk through how to take apart the Game Boy (OG) and help you with installation and testing. If you do not solder, we will complete those few steps for you.

Participants will walk away with a working Game Boy in a new case with a backlit screen installed. Registration cost will include the board and kit, and we need to collect the money and order the kits with some lead time for the class.

As with any repair, unexpected things may happen during repair, and some danger is present for any repair.

We have enough Game Boy (OG) boards (for this first class) to make sure everyone ends up with a working system. We will offer a discount if you bring your own Game Boy (OG) but not if you bring your own kit. There are a lot of different kits so we will order them for everyone to make sure our instructions match the kit.
