A.M. Cunningham's School Council launch 'Speaker Series: Reoccuring workshops aimed at providing parents and caregivers informative and timely content. Presented in partnership with community thought leaders.

SESSION 2: MANAGING BIG BEHAVIOURS

Join us at A M Cunningham Elementary School for an engaging workshop on Managing Big Behaviours. This workshop will explore the underlying causes of big behaviours, while providing practical strategies to address and de-escalate these situations. Participants will learn tips for setting clear expectations using positive re-enforcement and implementing natural and logical consequences. This workshop aims to help participants with the tools and confidence needed to support their children’s emotional regulation and promote a calmer home environment. Material is developed and presented by the Child and Youth Mental Health Program, at the Ron Joyce Children’s Health Centre as a part of McMaster Children’s Hospital.
