2025 Tri-State Regional EMLE

The Emerging Multicultural Leadership Experience (EMLE) is a learning experience designed to provide emerging professional staff of color the opportunity to become further engaged and connected to the Y Movement. Participants will become better positioned to grow and thrive at the Y by learning from and connecting with Multi-Team or Branch Leaders and Organizational leaders who are dedicated to educating and mentoring younger staff leading to a deeper engagement with the Y Movement.

A regional EMLE is typically a one or two-day experience, modeled after the three-day experience hosted by Y-USA Multicultural Leadership Development. The one-day regional experience will offer participants an opportunity to learn critical leadership skills at minimal expense, and will help young staff to further engage and connect to the movement. The one-day experience is led by a regional planning team in partnership with Y-USA Multicultural Development.
