This fun, FREE hands-on morning invites children and families to help “tuck the garden in” for its long winter nap. Together, we’ll:

🌼 Harvest the last flowers, veggies, and seeds of the season

🎃 Turn little pumpkins into big works of art with a fun, hands-on craft

✂️ Learn the “chop and drop” method and help cut back the garden beds

🧄 Plant garlic and spring bulbs to surprise us with the first blooms of spring

🍂 Collect leaves and spread compost to feed and protect the soil

...and much more!

Kids will discover how simple actions, like scattering seeds, layering leaves, and planting bulbs, make a big difference for the garden’s health, pollinators, and soil life. Families will take part in activities that connect us to the changing seasons while learning eco-friendly ways to care for the earth.

This is a joyful, family-friendly workshop designed for curious little gardeners and their grown-ups. Come get your hands in the soil, enjoy the crisp autumn air, and help us give the garden a cozy send-off before winter!
