Halstead Community Connections

The next instalment of the Halstead Community Connections meeting, following on from the Annual Town Council meeting where this body was formed.

Once more being held at the Queen’s Hall from 7pm, this time there will be a guest speaker, Andy Payne Worpole of Essex Community Foundation.

Essex Community Foundation provide grants to charities and voluntary organisations in Essex. They do this by working with individuals, families, businesses, charitable trusts and public agencies, helping them to find and fund local groups that are tackling the issues they care about most. Last year they gave away over £3.3 million.

Andy will talk about how to obtain funding, what information the Foundation needs, and pitfalls to avoid.
