2025 Hallowell Pride Drag: Don't Stop Believin'

Join us in Hallowell for a night of '80s classics brought to you by some of Maine's most fabulous Kings and Queens of the stage as we celebrate LGBTQ+ Pride.

Hosted by Ophelia Johnson, this year features King Lyric, Shauna Rai, Riot Romero, and Geinjer Vitus, along with a surprise debut performance.

The drag show will be electrified by Maine’s legendary DJ Jodi, spinning the beats you love and keeping the energy sky-high! You don't want to miss this one!

This is for advance tickets, which will guarantee seating even if the rain chases us indoors before the hairspray and mascara melt away.

More tickets will be available on the day of the event when doors open at 4:30.

About our performers:

👑 Ophelia Johnson: Ophelia Johnson is a drag sensation with 9 years of slaying the drag game. She is the proud winner of Portland's best drag personality 2018 & 2022. Ms. Johnson loves mixing comedy and glamour into an unbelievable show that you will remember for years to come.

👑 King Lyreck: Drag King Extraordinaire. Charismatic performer, creative force, and heart of gold. Electrifying stages across Maine and NH with self-expression, artistry, and joy. Inspiring authenticity. Lyreck has been performing since 2016, getting his start through Golden Goddess Productions. Lyreck quickly gained a large local following and was a favorite amongst fans wherever he performed. These performances gave Lyreck the confidence to begin his transition in 2018. Lyreck continued performing until March of 2020, when the world stopped. Like many during the pandemic, Lyreck paused and has been back at it mightier than ever, ready to command the kingdom.. and your hearts!

👑 Shauna Rai: Shaunna Rai has been playing with the art of female illusion for more than two decades. Shaunna Rai has won a few titles over the years, including: Miss AIDS Awareness 2011-2014. Increasing AIDS Awareness is her passion, and she often works with the Frannie Peabody Center. Shaunna has worked with many of RuPaul's Drag Race girls. She was picked to perform at the 2017 Austin International Drag Festival. She also works at a local Drag Brunch at Lava in Auburn, once a month. 👑 Riot Romero: Sleazy and sometimes cheesy, Riot Romero is a Drag King who loves to surprise and shock his audience. He is widely known for his drag performance antics and entertaining his audiences with his off the wall sense of humor and utterly devilish edge. Riot is a versatile performer who loves to connect with his audiences through the power of fantasy and play.

👑 Ginjer Vitus: Hi! I’m Ginjer Vitus, one of Portland’s newest, baddest, and hottest fashion queens. Although I’ve been doing drag for less than a year, I can turn heads with sick looks made by yours truly with a face beat for the goddesses. When I’m not saving lives as a nurse, you can find me hosting punk rock karaoke at Geno’s Rock Club every Monday with Father Vitus. If you have a sweet tooth and want to see some choreo, body, face, fashion, …even some live vocal performances, look no further than Ginjer Vitus!
