Social walk: Along the riverside to Gibson Mill

Join in on our first social walk, led by the volunteers this will be a gentle walk along the riverside from Midgehole car park to Gibson Mill. You can see how the river changes along the route, spot the occasional heron, take in the carpet of bluebells and try out the stepping-stones. There will be time to stop for a snack and a drink at the Weaving Shed Café, then head back to Midgehole car park, along the estate track.

This walk is approx. 2 miles long and will take around 3 hours. Everyone is welcome on this walk, dogs on leads are also welcome.

There are several very uneven, rocky sections, sets of steps, and parts can be muddy after rain.
