Introduction to Tandem Lake Canoeing course:

Shubie Park Beach, Dartmouth
The Introduction to Lake Canoeing course introduces beginner tandem paddlers how to paddle with a partner in calm sheltered waters.
Participants will be introduced to the basic paddling strokes and land and water rescues techniques. At the end of the course participants will have the confidence and basic skills to venture out on short paddling adventures.
What's Included:
Instructor and certification fee
What to Bring:
Water bottle, picnic lunch & snacks
Comfortable quick drying clothing (non-cotton), dress for the weather.
Sun Protection: Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, long sleeves
A change of clothes in a waterproof bag
Canoe, pfd, whistle, 15m buoyant rope & bailer
(Canoe rental available for $40)
