Magic of the Coastside Lobsterfest
The Rotary Club of Half Moon Bay Foundation has been supporting the Coastside since 1971. We are a 501 (c)3 foundation that funds short and long term projects that meet community needs and supports special projects of other charitable, educational and public causes and organizations. Our areas of focus include: vocational scholarships, disaster relief, club community projects and international projects. Recent projects include purchasing household items for Coastside farmworkers, providing vocational scholarships for Half Moon Bay High School seniors, sponsoring the entry plaza at the state of the art Half Moon Bay Library, funding the media room at Senior Coastsiders, and providing a fishing trip for Coastside Veterans.
We hold an annual fundraising event, Magic of the Coastside, to raise funds for these projects. This year we are hosting a family style Lobsterfest with music and entertainment. We will also have drinks, desserts and more!
In addition, we will include a "fund-a-need" activity to support two wonderful nonprofits in the community!
The event kicks off at 5:00pm, August 23rd, hope to see you there!
