(Triad), a leading multi-disciplinary, employee-owned firm, will mark its 50th Anniversary with a special celebration at its Hagerstown office located at 1075 Sherman Ave on Wednesday, September 17, 2025. The event begins at 2:00 PM, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 2:30 PM, followed by networking, office tours, and light refreshments from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
Founded in Morgantown in July 1975 as a geotechnical engineering consultant, Triad has evolved into a robust regional firm with nearly 200 employee-owners across nine locations in five states. Today, Triad provides a wide range of services, including geotechnical, civil, and mining engineering, environmental consulting, land surveying, drilling, construction monitoring, and materials testing for diverse sectors. This milestone year also commemorates Triad's 30th year as an employee-owned firm, a structure that fosters a culture of dedication and a deep commitment to quality.
Triad Engineering first established its presence in Hagerstown in December 1995, initially as a satellite office supporting construction monitoring and testing services across Washington County, Frederick County, and southern Pennsylvania. What began as a small operation has grown significantly, relocating to larger quarters in 2000.
