Minimum of 4 players, maximum of 6 players.
$10 per session. Drinks & snacks are on the house for our players while participating. Members earn $5 in store credit for their paid session fee.
Introductory learn and play for beginner players for Paranoia. Characters will be made during the session. Paranoia is a darkly humorous game. It is not like other Role Playing Games, as your fellow players may or rather will, turn on you.
You do not need to know the rules. Knowing the rules is treason!
You won’t know if someone is your friend, enemy, or a potential scapegoat.
Loyal citizens can turn traitor at any moment and attack you.
Traitors lie, so snitch on them before they snitch on you.
Welcome citizens! The Computer is your friend. The Computer has created a utopia for humans. The Computer will protect you, educate you, and help you stay loyal. Happiness is mandatory in Alpha Complex. Obedience is mandatory. Rumors are illegal. The Computer is infallible. Traitors are the enemy of all that is good and pure in Alpha Complex. Your job as a troubleshooter is to root out commie mutant traitors and bring them to justice.
There are signs you will learn to identify traitors. Often they are members of a secret society or have mutant powers. Often they are angry or depressed. Remember, happiness is mandatory! Other signs include refusing to work 72 hours in a row and hesitating to obey one’s betters as defined by security clearance. Often traitors make negative comments about The Computer.
This is often the first sign of a traitor.
As a troubleshooter you will complete missions that The Computer assigns to you. All mission objectives will be clear and easy to achieve. Since citizens only get tasks they can accomplish, all failure will be an obvious sign of treason. Failure is not an option!
