Deepening the work that Tanja Meyburgh introduced in her book Reclaiming Ancestors, which integrates the varied knowledge wisdom of her life’s learning, this workshop invites you into connection with your ancestors as important guides in your life. Through embodied practices, constellations, nature connection, art and ritual we will explore not only the ancient wisdom that is available to you through your connection with your biological ancestors; but also the ancestors of the soil in the places we are connected to; those often unknown ancestors that connect us to distant places and cultures; and the more challenging bonding that has been set up through wars and perpetrations. Through consciousness, inclusion and accommodation of these different parts of our history and ourselves, we can find deeper understanding of our SELF and how we respond in relationship and community. You will enter the next layers of perception that enable you to take responsibility only where necessary and enter greater freedom of choice as you tend to your soul’s longings. These times in our world history call for presence, showing up without looking away and active dreaming. The intention of this time together is to resource, deepen, challenge and transform you and your path in ways that unfold your heart and capacity to embrace more expansive horizons. You are invited to mediate, pray, ask and call in guidance for your personal intentions ahead of time and arrive prepared, in your adult agency to give and receive in a communal healing and learning space.
