Russian River Pride Paint and Sip - Pass the Canvas

We provide the canvas, paints, supplies and some creative ideas - no experience necessary. Bring friends or come solo! This is a fun way to meet and connect with community. You’ll taste fantastic local wines and take home a beautiful, unique work of art to remember this experience.

This is also a chance to help raise funds for Russian River Pride 2025! There will be a selection of awesome items for a raffle and auction, including art donated by local, professional artists. All participants will start off with a complimentary raffle ticket.

How it works:

Choose a unique design from dozens of printed ideas to start your own canvas or design your own. After 15 minutes you’ll pass your canvas to the person next to you and then work on the next canvas. By the end of the event, each person has given and received a personalized, unique painting that is the product of everyone’s contributions!

Painting for a cause:

Your Paint and Sip donations support Russian River Pride, including the free Pride Parade and Festival on September 20 in addition to our annual grant program, which infuses money back into West Sonoma County non-profit organizations. Last year we donated over $32,00 back into our community. Help us make 2025 even stronger!

The wines provided by our friends at Equality Vines benefit important causes such as Memorial Endowment Scholarships, Family Equality, MUST Charities!, Lambda Legal, YWCA, Human Rights Campaign (HRC), Puertas Abiertas, The National League of Women Voters, LGBTQ Connection, and SAGE – Senior Advocacy for Gay Elders.
