Join us for our 2nd Annual GLOC Powerboat Club Fun Run!!
There has been a slight change of plans as far as the route we’re taking plus where we will be eating & doing the first round of giveaways!
On Saturday, June 7, 2025 we will be meeting in the water on the west side of Honey Creek Bridge. You are welcome to arrive however early you would like but we will be taking off at noon. Steve with Grand Lakes very own TowBoat USA will be our pace boat & we will follow his lead at take off.
We will then boat down south and do a pass by the dam!! From there, we will shoot up Ketchum Cove where we will dock at Hammerhead Marina for some yummy VIP Pizza at Sharky’s!! To keep things simple and a bit easier for the staff at Sharky’s & VIP, we will actually be doing a pizza buffet that will be $15/person!! Additional sides, pastas, & salads will be separate and can be purchased on your own tab. Alcohol is also not included. This is a kid friendly location and children are welcome. I can’t promise they won’t see us take shots and have fun with some loud music but they’re definitely welcome! 🤣 Any additional money over the total for the pizza buffet will be added into our donation for the veterans.
While at Sharky’s/VIP, we will do our first round of giveaways which will be a WetSounds SHIVR 55 cooler that will be loaded down with alcohols, mixers, koozies, a fuel gift card & additional goodies. We will also have a contest or two for additional giveaways as well as a cash prize!!
Once finished up at Sharky’s/VIP Pizza, we will head to Woodard where we will tie up, have our final giveaways & hang out! We will have a second cooler giveaway in Woodard which will be a stocked full Frosted Frog as well as another cash prize giveaway!!
Thanks to the kindness & generosity of our friends at Cigarette Midwest, every boat that shows up will receive 2 GLOC Powerboat Fun Run t shirts!!
We have a lot of fun things planned and are very excited to see everyone and get summer 2025 kicked off!!
With it being Memorial Day weekend, our beautiful Grand Lake will be busier than normal. With that being said, we just ask that everyone use caution on our route as the main priority does need to be safety. We will want to use extra caution around the Shangri La and Duck Creek areas as traffic is typically a bit heavier around there.
