Join us in the garden for a special event with Sarah Rollins, LMSW, SEP, and founder of Embodied Wellness—a virtual group therapy practice providing compassionate, body-based care across Michigan. Sarah will share a brief introduction to Somatic Therapy and how it can support our everyday lives and parenting. She’ll
help us explore how the body communicates through
sensations—especially during times of stress, anxiety, or
overwhelm—and how tuning into these signals can guide us
toward what we truly need. We'll also be invited into a gentle somatic practice to experience firsthand how reconnecting with our bodies can support healing, nervous system regulation, and the ability to honor our needs and boundaries—without guilt or shame.
A little bit about our facilitator: Sarah Rollins is a licensed clinical social worker and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner in Michigan. Sarah is a dual graduate from the University of Michigan, earning her undergraduate degree in Psychology in 2011 and graduate degree in social work in 2013. Sarah is the founder of a virtual group practice, Embodied Wellness, PLLC that specializes in somatic and EMDR therapy. Sarah is passionate about working with individuals with developmental and complex trauma. In addition to somatic therapy, she integrates Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS) and an attachment lens in her practice.
**Please note** This session is pay-what-you-can, with a suggested donation of $5-$20. You can Venmo one of our facilitators, Kristin, at @KB7782021. **Even bigger note** - if this cost would be a barrier to you, please still come, free of charge. We are happy to support you, and do not want anyone not joining because of an inability to pay. So just come, we'll be thrilled to have you!
