Brigitte Lardinois and Amanda Crawley Jackson will explore photography, place, and cultural practice in this informal talk and Q+A session.

Brigitte Lardinois is Reader in the Understanding of Public Photography at the London College of Communication, University of the Arts London. Her previous roles include Curator at the Barbican Art Gallery and Cultural Director at Magnum Photos, where she produced landmark exhibitions and publications including Magnum Magnum. She was involved in Magnum group exhibitions, solo shows for Henri Cartier-Bresson, Martin Parr, Josef Koudelka, Eve Arnold, Elliott Erwitt and many others. She currently curates the Edward Reeves Archive project.
Amanda Crawley Jackson is Professor of Place & Culture and Dean of Research & Knowledge Exchangeat the University of the Arts London: London College of Communication. Based between London and Sheffield, her work explores how creative practice can deepen our understanding of place and environment.
