Die German Gents sind ein Quartett aus Berlin, das sich im Jahr 2018 aus Sängern des Staats- und Domchors gegründet hat. Erster Erfolg der Gruppe war der in Leipzig ausgetragene A Cappella Wettbewerb im Mai 2019. Dort gewannen sie den 1. Preis, den Publikumspreis sowie zwei weitere Sonderpreise. Mit unverwechselbaren Klang präsentieren die German Gents auf ihren Konzerten amerikanische Klassiker der 50er und 60er Jahre sowie die schönsten deutschen Stücke der goldenen 20er. Charmant und kreativ stellen sie außerdem moderne Popsongs dem romantischen Männerchorgesang gegenüber, um ihren klassischen Wurzeln ebenso wie ihrem jungen Alter gerecht zu werden. Die Qualität ihrer Einzelstimmen, ihr farbenreicher Zusammenklang und mitreißende Emotionen begeistern das Publikum.
Die German Gents folgen derzeit Einladungen zahlreicher Konzertveranstalter und renommierter Festivals wie Musica Bayreuth, Rheingau Musikfestival, Konzerthaus Berlin, Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Live from London Christmas Festival, und werden als aufgehender Stern am A Cappella Himmel gefeiert.

Les German Gents sont un quatuor vocal de Berlin, fondé en 2018 par des chanteurs issus du Chœur d’État et de la Cathédrale de Berlin. Leur premier succès remonte à mai 2019, lorsqu’ils remportèrent le 1er prix, le prix du public ainsi que deux prix spéciaux supplémentaires lors du concours de chant a cappella à Leipzig. Avec un son unique et reconnaissable, les German Gents interprètent lors de leurs concerts des classiques américains des années 50 et 60 ainsi que les plus belles chansons allemandes des années folles. Charmants et créatifs, ils mettent également en contraste des chansons pop modernes avec le chant choral romantique masculin, rendant ainsi hommage à la fois à leurs racines classiques et à leur jeunesse.
Les German Gents répondent actuellement à l’invitation de nombreux organisateurs de concerts et de festivals renommés tels que Musica Bayreuth, le Rheingau Musik Festival, le Konzerthaus de Berlin, les Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern ou encore le festival Live from London Christmas. The German Gents are a vocal quartet from Berlin, founded in 2018 by singers from the State and Cathedral Choir of Berlin. Their first major success came in May 2019 at the a cappella competition held in Leipzig, where they won first prize, the audience award, and two additional special prizes. With their unmistakable sound, the German Gents perform American classics from the 1950s and 60s as well as the most beautiful German songs of the golden 1920s. Charming and creative, they also juxtapose modern pop songs with romantic male choral music, staying true both to their classical roots and their youthful spirit.
