WELCOME to the 5th and Final SUMMER RUNNING SERIES Event of 2025!
Walkers and Runners of all ages and abilities are all welcome to join us.
EVENT DETAILS:
This route is a little over 3.25 miles on the paved Springwater Trail.
From the trail head at the Southern most part of the park we will head West just under a mile to Towle Road where we will turn around and head back to Main City Park. After passing Main City Park we will then head South East to Regner Road where we will turn around again and head back to the Finish back at Main City Park!
There are a few traffic crossing to be aware of, but Towle and Regner are crossing with traffic signals and I will place cones at these with turn around signs.
This route is stroller and leashed dog friendly. If you haven't run the Springwater Trail it can be busy with pedestrians and bikers, so please be safe and courteous of your surroundings.
There are a few parking spots near the trail head, but you may need to park in other parking spots and walk in Main City Park.
The Summer Running Series events will be timed and tracked as an option. The thought behind this is that you can follow your improvement over the month of events.
If you can’t attend the live event you are still in luck! You can run or walk the route anytime 7/29 – 7/31. Just submit your participation to Rob Druffel through Facebook messenger, a post or comment.
We have Eastwind Summer Running Series 2025 coasters and magnets to give to participants (until we run out).
For the Finale we will have a drawing for some Foot Traffic Swag, Sun Glasses donated, and a Surprise Grand Prize for those with entries based on participation in all five events! (at the live events or on your own) Winner present at the Live Event will have 1st choice of Prizes. There will be an addition drawing on Friday morning after all the entries have been included of those that virtual participate on Thursday.
There will be a meet up (location TBD) after the event for those that choose to hang out after!
