Welcome to the 4th Annual "Dinkin' in the Delta" pickleball tournament in Greenwood, MS on May 30th & 31st, 2025!! The Dinkin' in the Delta Open will be an incredibly fun, exciting, and competitive event for players of all ages and levels! Players can compete in doubles and mixed doubles events, (no additional fee if playing in 2 events). There will be the following Skill and Age brackets players can sign-up for:
Ages 15-49:
3.0 & Under, 3.5 Only, and 4.0 & Above.
Ages 50 & Above:
3.0 & Under, 3.5 Only, and 4.0 & Above.
Matches will be played at Twin Rivers which features indoor dedicated pickleball courts! All the winners from each skill level bracket will receive a gift! Come play, compete, and experience a pickleball event you won’t want to miss!
Tournament match schedule:
Mixed Doubles- Friday, May 30th starting not before 3:00pm.
Men’s Doubles & Women’s Doubles – Saturday, May 31st.
Tournament Format:
*Everyone is guaranteed a minimum of 3 matches per event.
*We will try to make each draw a Round Robin format so everyone get to play as many matches as possible.
*If certain draws get too large, then the teams will be divided into two or more pools and the top teams in each pool will advance to a playoff round to determine winners.
*Skill Level: For doubles and mixed doubles, you must sign up at the skill level of the higher rated partner. Players with a PickleballBrackets.com rating must use that rating. The primary rating software that Players should use is the DUPR.
Players with a USAPA UTPR rating, but no PickleballBrackets.com rating must use that rating. Players with neither rating may self rate.
Ratings will be verified by the club at point of registration. The tournament reserves the right to move players and teams between skill level brackets/events.
*Registering Together as a Team: For a guaranteed spot in mixed doubles or doubles, the second partner must sign up within 10 days of the first partner's registration. Incomplete teams will be moved to the waiting list after that. Once the second partner registers, they will be moved back into the event if there is still availability in the event.
