Afton Crossing w/ Virginia Varland

The dance will feature calling by Virginia Varland and music by Afton Crossing.

Contra dancing is a style of folk dance made up of long lines of couples. This is a beginners friendly dance because there is a caller giving instructions and there is a lesson at the beginning of the dance. You can choose to dance either role the Lark or the Robin. Come with or without friends there will be plenty of people to dance with.

Dance will be held at Greenwood Community Center

Entry Fee:
Sliding Scale: $10-$20

Time:
A beginner lesson will be from 7pm to 7:30pm followed by the dance from 7:30pm to 10pm.
