Leave your cares and worries behind as you take flight and flutter about. Come and experience a different kind of group painting class where you not only have the freedom to choose your butterfly design and your paint colors, your painting style is also your choice. Want your butterfly to have angel wings? No problem! This is a reflection of *you* as a butterfly, awakening from your cocoon and going where you choose to go. You are unique so it makes sense that your painting also will be unique.
How do you know what your butterfly looks like? By closing your eyes and letting your mind wander and then trusting your intuition to guide you. The process is very simple. Ellie will guide you thru each step including different painting techniques. Yes, you can do this! The samples you see here are butterflies painted by people who were once in your shoes. Absolutely no experience is needed. There will be step-by-step instructions (first the background, second the basic shapes, and then lastly the details until time runs out). Ellie will guide you through the basics of color washes, color mixing and painting techniques. If you get stuck, help will soon be on the way.

Feel the freedom to express yourself creatively. Let go of your worries for a little while. Trust the process as you learn to trust yourself.
All materials and supplies (including a 16" x 20" or 11" x 14" canvas) are included. This is your butterfly painting to take home. This playshop (paint party) lasts for about 2 hours.
NOTE: Class size is limited (10 max.) so everyone can receive individualized attention to paint their butterflies.
