Fruit and Vegetables in Oil Paint
Saturdays, May 10th and 17th from 1pm – 3pm

In the 2-part series, we will paint 2-3 still lifes that we observe in class using fresh produce. This will give us the opportunity to talk about warm vs cool colors and creating lifelike shapes and forms with shading and highlights. $70, supplies included. Bryn Lenkaitis is a Pennsylvania native who fell in love with the people and places of North Carolina and decided to make Winston-Salem home about four years ago. She has a BA in Art History and Studio Art from Indiana University of Pennsylvania where she was given the opportunity to study in both Croatia and Spain.
When she’s not working as a Philanthropic Project Specialist managing the creation of collateral materials to fundraise for Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist and the Wake Forest University School of Medicine, Bryn paints in acrylics and oils but also experiments in mixed media. Her artwork explores the use of bold color and texture to bring to life both the beautiful adventures and day-to-day places she inhabits. In doing so, she puts down roots in the rich soil of each new community she finds herself in and preserves the transient landscapes along the way that bring her joy. Bryn is also an Artfolios Emerging Artist, Sawtooth Painting Instructor and avid traveler painting her next journey
