CELLULAR JOURNEYS -- Mixed Media Painted Drawings by Kendra Kett

I'm honored and so excited to share this news! The Robert T. Wright Gallery of Art at the College of Lake County consistently presents outstanding shows for the students, faculty, and staff at the college as well as for the community at large. (That's us!!) lt never disappoints and is a true Lake County gem. Come on out to the college on FRIDAY, AUGUST 22, 5-7pm to see 4 amazing artists in the Robert Wright gallery and then pop down to the lower level (just steps away) to the Esper Petersen Reading Room Gallery to see me! 🙂 🙂 🙂 I will have 14 mixed media "painted drawings" on view that showcase my cellular themed artwork. Though my work is deeply personal and even autobiographical, it seeks to illuminate shared human themes and universal emotions associated with healing after loss or trauma. I would love to see you, catch up, and talk about the healing nature of original art!
