Jaxon FC Vs Ezra FC
Hey everyone it’s that time again where we would like to raise as much as possible for TOFS and The British Heart Foundation in memory of our 2 beautiful boys Jaxon & Ezra.
This is following our previous events where we raised a whopping £1189 by organising a Tombola and then we collected hundreds of teddies and then placed these on children’s graves at Christmas these events can be found on Facebook at Jaxon and Ezra’s tombola and A cuddly for Christmas we also held a Jaxon V Ezra charity football match last year raising £560
We are holding another Jaxon and Ezra’s charity football match next month on Saturday 24th May at William Edwards School
The day is going to consist of a 90 minute football match, raffle, face painting and some games for the kids plus food and drink.
We are however looking for some donations as raffle prizes if anybody is in a position to it’ll be greatly appreciated.
There is also the opportunity for anyone to play if they wish to if not we hope to see some of you there for a great cause.
I just wanted to share our story as some people may not know the reason behind the fundraising , so here goes.
Back in 2018 i gave birth to our little boy Jaxon, during pregnancy we had no issues, after birth Jaxon become very poorly and only lived for 6 hours, we later found out that this was down to his food and wind pipe not being formed correctly and also having a blockage in his voice box. The charity in which would have helped and supported us if Jaxon had survived is TOFS, babies born unable to swallow. Half the money raised from this fundraiser will be going to them to help other family’s and children born unable to swallow.
In November 2021 we found out at our 12 week scan that our baby had abnormalities with its heart. We see specialist and we’re told that if our baby made it to term it would not survive for very long after birth and the best thing for our baby was to have a medical termination as baby had other abnormalities too. On the 29th November we had our second little boy Ezra, due to having a heart condition half the money raised will be going to the British heart foundation as they would have supported us with Ezra’s care.
TIA
