Trail Walk: Walking with History to Celebrate Quarry Dogs

Free for EVERYONE

The Slate Valley Museum will welcome humans and their canine companions to walk with them through history and celebrate “quarry dogs” on Tuesday, August 5 at 10am.

The walk will include part of the D&H Rail Trail, with about 40 minutes of moderate walking with brief stops for rest and discussion along the way. The walk will end at the Mettawee River Park, which is dog friendly (leashes required at all times). Participants are also welcome to walk back to the museum after the program for water and snacks.
