The Truth about Selective College Admissions (Part 3of 3)

This session is the final in a three-part series diving deeply into the hard truths about admission to some of the country's most selective colleges and programs. BEWARE! "Most selective" is not limited to Ivy+ colleges; it also includes a number of out-of-state public flagships (i.e. University of Michigan, University of Virginia, the University of California system, etc) and highly selective majors (often computer science, business, engineering, and nursing) at colleges that may have higher overall admission rates.

Part 3 will cover the following:

Example of a real "rubric" used by admission reps to evaluate applications to a highly selective institution

Participate in a mock application review of REAL apps from students who have applied (and been admitted to) schools with single digit admit rates
