Following our sold out Easter School, our annual Summer School (7th-11th July 10-3pm) returns this year.
Join us for an exciting week of creativity, confidence, and performance! In just five days, young performers will work together to create an original musical theatre show packed with acting, singing, and dancing. Guided by professional tutors, participants will explore drama, movement, and musical numbers all leading to our usual fully staged special performance for family and friends at the end of the week. No experience needed, just bring your energy and imagination!
This years theme is Genre Mashup so we will look at everything that makes up great theatre musicals and plays and we’ll be mixing up stories, characters, and styles.
From Comedy and satire shows like Shrek the Musical, Matilda, Honk! and The Play That Goes Wrong to Horror like The Addams Family, Thrillers like The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time to Futuristic productions like We Will Rock You, Starlight Express, Be More Chill and Parody & pop culture such as & Juliet, Six, Rock of Ages and Coming-of-age & teen storytelling
like Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, Dear Evan Hansen and 13 the Musical.
There’s truly something for everyone, and as always, our students will have the chance to choose what they’d like to focus on and take ownership of parts of the creative process through devising and collaboration.

Open to all young performers aged 7-18yrs of all levels of experience and working in their own age groups.
