This month is Shakespeare's Hamlet. “To read, or not to read”—that’s never the question for us. This month, we’re plunging headfirst into the haunted halls of Elsinore to tackle the prince of Denmark himself.
Join the Grand Rapids Great Books group as we explore Hamlet—a tragedy that’s launched a thousand dissertations and left an indelible mark on everything from Freud to The Lion King. Murder, madness, existential dread, ghostly fathers, and a whole lot of excellent bad decisions—what more could a reader want?
There are no shortages of editions to choose from. Physical, online, audiobook, or even watching a play on YouTube. However you chose to take in the story, be sure to join us for the discussion at Küsterer 6/16 at 7pm.
