A new event for the summer is coming to Grand Rapids! Hosted in the heart of the city in the historic Grand Rapids Public Library — The GR City Action Open. A fast-paced day of chess for all USCF-members. Check out the details below!

Requirements: USCF Membership required for both sections. MCA memberships checked at the door.

Sections: Open & Reserve (U800)

Players below 800 will play in the reserve section.

Time Control: G/25;d5

Schedule:

Registration/Check-In – 9:15-9:45AM

Round 1 – 10:00AM
Round 2 – 11:15AM
Round 3 – 12:45PM
Round 4 – 2:00PM
Round 5 – 3:15PM
Ending Ceremony – 4:30-4:45

Prizes:

Open – 1st Place – $400 (b/30)

Reserve – 1st Place – $200 (b/15)

Prizes are given out based upon percentage of attendees.
