This will be a regular event that happens every Friday from 5pm-8pm. Friday, February 21st from 5pm-8pm we will only we open for recycling drop off, we will not be open for shopping this day. We won’t be open for shopping because I’ve been ill for over a month and both rooms are nowhere near ready to shop. We hope to be ready February 28th to shop.
We are making changes some changes:
All recycling MUST be separated by materials. We are bringing in much more materials than when we first started this weekly event. To ensure we are able to accept all materials it’s easier on everyone if things are sorted. By sorted we mean all oral care products in one bag or box, all shaving razors in one separate box or bag, all clean clothing in separate boxes or bags, etc.
You must be checked in, please do not just leave materials without being checked in. Allow some extra time for us to sort your materials to make sure we accept everything you bring. We do not want to go against our mission by accepting materials we can’t use then possibly have to toss.

We are also making chances to our shopping procedure. First time Recyclers get 1 item free from our $5 and under room. We will no longer be offering a free items as a reward each time one recycles, it’s just no longer in our budget to offer this. We are looking into reward cards, and will often have promotions.
Our drop off recycling program is free to everyone. However, if you want items picked up, even items from our list we charge a fee to do so. Junk in the Trunk is an eco friendly business but we are more than just a free recycling program. We are an estate liquidation/clean out/junk removal company first and foremost.
