Grenfell Heritage Day

Friends and neighbours - the plan this year is to hold Grenfell Heritage Day in Grenfell Park on July 8. (if the weather is bad we will hold it in the Polar Centre.)
I would like to appeal to all residents of the area to please come out and support our annual event. As you know, all money raised is used to help with the purchase of medical equipment for our health care facilities. In recent years we have lost the funding from Curtis Hospital Auxiliary, and there has been a decline in the Christmas card project run by Mrs. Evelyn Rumbolt on behalf of the auxiliary.
In addition we have had a sharp decline in our donations from various sources.

However at the Foundation, we put every effort in to continuing to raise money. Last year we spent approximately $210,000.00 on items for Curtis Hospital, Forteau Health Centre and several of the clinics and orders have been placed for approximately $100,000, for this year.

Again, we look forward to your support for Grenfell Heritage Day - donations of prizes for the various events are welcome, along with monetary donations to of set the expenses.
