Join us on Sunday 28 September as master violinist and Patron of the Central Coast Conservatorium, Charmian Gadd, proudly joins us to present A Fiddler's Feast, a celebration of all things violin.
This is no ordinary concert, it’s an immersive musical experience right here in the heart of Gosford.
• Be captivated by Mattieu Arama, Concertmaster of Opera Australia, performing some of the most thrilling and beautiful solos from the operatic repertoire accompanied by Phillip Shovk.
• Enjoy a special screening from Handel’s Julius Caesar, featuring violinist Tony Gault and countertenor Grahame Pushee
• Experience the brilliance of Brian Hong from the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, dazzling audiences with Paganini and more accompanied by Ying Ho
• Be inspired by performances from talented young musicians.
The celebration continues with informal violin performances, where you’ll have the chance to see and even try these exquisite instruments. Violin makers and collectors will also showcase a fascinating display of rare and historic violins, some new and some hundreds of years old.
The afternoon concludes with light refreshments in the Conservatorium Courtyard. It’s the perfect chance to connect with fellow music lovers and community members.
Everyone is welcome!
