Gordonvale State High School VIVID Festival is Back!

Join us for an evening bursting with colour, creativity, and community spirit as we celebrate student talent, learning, and innovation at our annual VIVID Festival. This year also marks the official opening of our renovated M, E, and K Blocks—come and see our brand-new learning spaces!
Coinciding with Science Week, the festival will feature an exciting mix of interactive activities, displays, and performances, including:
🎯 For the competitors – Tower puzzles, Are You Smarter Than a High Schooler? math trivia, catapult design challenge, and robotics demonstrations.
🎨 For the creatives – Basket weaving, beading, food decorating, and art workshops.
🔬 For the curious – Fascinating science experiments and hands-on activities.
🧸 For the young & young at heart – Childcare student-led activities such as popcorn dancing, kinetic sand, and finger puppet making.
🕶 For the explorers – VR history experiences and a chill-out zone to relax.
Pre-Event Touch Football Game – 5:00pm
Come early to watch our school touch team take on ex-touch legends in a friendly (but fierce) match. Grab food and drinks to support our fundraising for the Gold Coast All-Schools Touch Competition.
