This treasure-hunt style driving adventure combines a fun day out with the chance to test your road knowledge and the chance to win a prize.
The Goosechase can start on any day within the season - it's up to you and your team! Along the route, you’ll check in at key locations, cracks clues, learn about local history, and put your Highway Code skills to the test – all while enjoying some of North Wales' most breath-taking roads.
The experience is for teams - a minimum of two people can participate, up to maximum vehicle capacity. You must get one ticket per team.
You need
1 x driver with their own car
1 x passenger and chief navigator
2 x team mates (optional)
1 x smart phone
The Goosechase App (download and join as a guest)
Access to Google maps or other navigational tools (optional)
On the day
Get your team ready to set off from Betws-y-Coed in North Wales.
Start the Goosechase on any day within the season.
Solve the first set of clues and then head out onto the roads to find the answers.
Driving time is around 2hrs 5 minutes in clear traffic and good weather conditions.
However, you will need to allow more time to explore and solve the missions. Note, you should also be prepared to do some hunting on foot.
Enjoy the drive through stunning scenery.
Make a day of it, plan some rest stops, sightseeing and photo opportunities.
Answer as many clues as you can on the circular route.
The team with the most points at the end of the season will win a £50 One4All voucher.
In the event of a tie, additional points will be allocated for accuracy and creativity. Please note, this is not a race. Teams not adhering to parking or speeding regulations will be disqualified.
