🛶 The San Antonio River Authority and San Antonio River Foundation invite you to the 2nd installment of the 2025 Race the River competitive paddling series!
Take on the challenge of the Goliad Paddling Trail, a 5-mile amateur or 17-mile pro race through one of the most scenic and remote stretches of the San Antonio River. Paddle alongside adventure racers from across Texas as you test your endurance and skill!
All finishers will receive a commemorative patch, and we’ll celebrate your achievement with a post-race gathering and awards ceremony for top competitors.

🏅 Event Details – Saturday, May 10th, 2025
• Pro Racer Check-in Location: Goliad Paddling Trail- Riverdale Access Point (N Riverdale Ln, Goliad, TX 77963)
• Amateur Racer Check-in Location: HW 59 River Crossing
• Racer Check-in Time (Amateur): 9:30-11AM
• Racer Check-in Time (Pro): 8-9:30AM
• Race Start Time (Pro): 10AM
• Race Start Time (Amateur): 11:30AM
• Pro Race Cutoff: 1PM at HW 59 River Crossing
• Race Finish Line (Pro & Amateur): Goliad Paddling Trail- Ferry St Access Point
• Total Race Distance: Pro - 17 Miles | Amateur - 5 Miles
• After Party & Awards: 2PM at Branch River Park
-Lunch will be provided for all participants, followed by an awards ceremony where prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers in each category.
