DTR Sunday 8/31: Centennial Cone

Hello trail running friends! This Sunday let's head up to Centennial Cone starting from the Mayhem Gulch trailhead at 7am.

Coming up from Mayhem Gulch, once we hit the main loop we can head east. There are plenty of mileage options on this one thanks to some waypoints like the famous log bench (5m out) or the bridge at Elk Creek (6.5m out). For those looking for a big day, the full loop counter clockwise is about 16.5 miles.

We'll group up at the trailhead and make sure everyone has a good feel for their options. As always, all paces are welcome and we'll do our best to make sure folks have a fun outing. Afterward, we can aim to grab food & coffee in Golden -- Big Daddy Bagels or Bonfire Burritos are two strong options.
