Goderich Mayor's Luncheon

The Goderich Mayor’s Luncheon, presented by Compass Minerals, is a marquee annual event hosted by the Huron Chamber of Commerce, bringing together business and political leaders for an insightful discussion on the future of Goderich. Each year, the Mayor of Goderich addresses the business community and invites a guest speaker or two to provide additional perspectives on key issues.

This highly anticipated event is always a sell-out, and this year, we’re excited to welcome attendees to a new, much larger venue—allowing more opportunities for engagement while still expecting strong demand.

Joining the Mayor are two distinguished leaders:

James Scongack, Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President at Bruce Power. In February 2025, Scongack was appointed as co-chair of the Ontario Chamber of Commerce’s Ontario Business and Trade Leadership Coalition (OBTLC), a coalition uniting leaders from key trade-dependent sectors to champion business-driven solutions and advocate for effective government policies.

Jessica Linthorne, President & CEO of the Nuclear Innovation Institute (NII). Linthorne has been widely recognized for her leadership in rural economic development, regional collaboration, and innovation in public service delivery.
