For 41 years, Gloucester has opened its harbor to a grand gathering of historic schooners — and we’re honored to be part of it once again!

Each Schooner Festival Weekend, these magnificent vessels sail in from near and far, and we’re right there to greet them as they arrive.

Watching the schooners make their way into the harbor is a sight like no other — a proud salute to our maritime heritage and working waterfront.

Join us as we welcome the fleet, celebrate our seafaring history, and kick off a weekend full of schooners, sails, and tradition.
