About the event

The Night Before Gettysburg

Join us for a historical and poignant evening as we get a glimpse into President Abraham Lincoln's soul on the eve of delivering his famous Gettysburg Address as he wrestles with slavery, racism, war carnage and the deaths of two of his children.

A 30 minute play followed by Q & A, written and performed by Chuck Johnson.

This program is free to the public, sponsored by Friends of the Glenwood Public Library.
