Pope County Humane Society-Foster Open House

Pope County Humane Society is holding a behind-the-scenes open house for people curious about fostering on Sunday August 24th from 2-4pm at our shelter.

This Foster Info + Sign-Up event is a low-pressure way for people to learn more, meet animals, and even take home a foster pet if they’re ready.

We’re especially hoping to reach people who have never fostered before but may be curious or looking for a way to help. Fostering is ideal for:

-People who love animals but can’t commit to adoption.
-Families with older kids or teens looking for a meaningful project.
-Retirees or people working from home with flexible time.

Join us and be entered in to win a giftcard to our very own, Class Act Thrift Shop.

No long-term commitment required—fostering can be as short as a weekend. It’s one of the most rewarding (and flexible!) ways to help local animals in need.
