Need more swing dancing in your life? Well, buy a ticket and put the Spring Swing Social Popup event in your diary now! You'll dance to Hobart's hottest DJ's in a beautiful venue with great floor! It's hosted by me, Mary Awesomesauce (aka Mary Ruthven) with a few helpers.
It's a trial, non-for profit event. My goal is to cover costs; any profits will be put towards the next event, or donated to charity. If it's a succcess, I might run it again, so please come along to show your support!
Floor: wooden (fairly fast). I recommend bringing a few shoe options.
Dress code: casual but feel free to dress vintage/dressy.
Drinks: please byo water bottle. This is a dry event.
Cost: $10 (plus booking fee) for 2.5 hours of social dancing.
Payment: Please buy your tickets before the event, online via Humanitix:
https://events.humanitix.com/spring-swing-social-popup. There will be no door sales or cash sales so please don't turn up to the venue without a booking. Refunds provided if you are unwell or unforseen circumstances prevent you from attending.
