September Hike Challenge Guided Hike- Evergreen Glade Trail

Hold onto your hiking boots, 2025 just got way more exciting! It's time for our trail challenge! Each month, dare to thread a new trail and complete all 12 for a chance to score some amazing swag and bragging rights! Join us for a guided adventure, or go solo to rack up those miles. For each trail you complete, you will earn a collector pin and if you finish all the trails, you will receive a t-shirt! All swag will be distributed at the end of the year. Share a photo on the trail or at the trail marker by posting to Guernsey State Park's Facebook page, Instagram page, text us a photo or call us at 307-836-2334, 307-921-2057 or 307-331-7326.

Evergreen Trail is a 2.5-mile loop that offers an easy to intermediate hiking experience. Begin your journey at the Historic Museum and make your way to Upper Spotted Tail Campground. This delightful trail features diverse terrain and is part of a historic route. Keep an eye out for interpretive signs, CCC steps, quarried stone, and remnants of the historic golf course. To return, you can either follow the museum road or take the historic Red Cliff trail.
