We will be making Hyacinths, Peonies, Daffodil, Camellia, and overflowing floral boot and sophisticated bee.
In this class you will receive six (6) cookies, several colours/consistencies of royal icing, multiple metal piping tips for different floral designs, a practice card, cookie turn table, image of desired design for reference, scribe tool (your gift to keep), scissors and icing recipe card.
Although a bit more advanced than our standard non-tip, flood-only classes, this class is still beginner friendly non the less. Even if you have never decorated a cookie or held an icing bag, you have the skill to create these beautiful cookies.
We will provide everything you need and step-by-step instructions to ensure you produce the best cookies possible. As well as coffee, hot teas and water to keep you hydrated.
This class will briefly touch on the different icing consistencies used in decorating sugar cookies, demonstrate how to properly hold/squeeze a piping bag, help you build a tipped piping bag, discuss the order of icing applications, and teach you how to execute a verity if royal icing techniques. You will learn new techniques step-by-step and maybe even discover you have a skill you didn’t know you had. We will also educate you on proper cookie/icing storage so everything stays fresh and what is left over can be reused.
At the end of class, you will get to take home your icing scribing tool, icing recipe card and your beautiful cookies.
Not the artsy type? Cookie decorating classes may seem daunting, but you will be taught everything you need to know. Remember that even if you make a mistake, the results will still be delicious! You can sign up as an individual, with a friend, or with a whole group. The more the merrier! We welcome everyone, regardless of your artistic skills or experience.

You do not need to pick up your supplies before class. Everything will be waiting for you when you arrive.
To ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience, we recommend wearing short sleeves and minimal jewelry.
