HEALING THE WORLD: MEDITATIONS ON MEDICINE BUDDHA FOR WORLD PEACE

In 2006, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso opened Kadampa Meditation Center New York by granting Medicine Buddha Empowerment and giving teachings on Medicine Buddha. Medicine Buddha is the “Buddha Doctor”, and by relying on him we can bring healing to ourselves and others. For almost 20 years, KMC NY has been a beacon of healing and inspiration throughout the local Catskills region, in the tri-state area, and throughout the country and world.

Join us for this celebration of our 19th anniversary by engaging in a day retreat on Medicine Buddha practice. The power and profundity of Medicine Buddha practice is unsurpassed. Through relying on Medicine Buddha, we will gain an inspiring vision that it is possible to completely heal our mind of all limitations and delusions and attain the lasting happiness of enlightenment. Through this understanding, we will then see this is possible for the entire world and gain the encouragement to work for their sake.
