Sonoma Botanical Garden—Ready, Set, Sketch & Urban Sketchers

Let's go Sketching at the Sonoma Botanical Garden in Glen Ellen next Saturday July 12, 2025 from 10AM to 12:30pm. Let’s meet at the main building to the right after you park your car. There is a small fee to visit the garden, $12 for Seniors, $15 for Adults, with free parking. We’ll meet at the main building at 12:30 and show and share and chat… or not as you wish. This is a non-judgemental meeting of friendly artists.

It's going to be a great day to get outside and have fun with your art. It could be cool in the morning, but it will get pretty toasty as the day goes on, so be prepared to shed clothes. Bring your art supplies, a hat and sunscreen, I recommend a packed lunch or snacks. Not sure if there is food on premises, so be prepared.
There is a short hike up to the small lake (made from a former quarry). It's worth the trip to sketch the waterfall and bridge.
