Get out in the fresh air and up close to nature as you go on a mini beast hunt in the abbey grounds and wildlife area!
Taking place on Wednesdays and Fridays throughout August, Mini Beast Hunts are a great activity for the whole family to do together as you use your observation skills to get hands on with wildlife.
Many mini beasts are active in the summer months and unlike some animals that are difficult to spot, you can find creepy crawlies anywhere.
Plenty of bees, beetles, butterflies, spiders, dragonflies and more call the abbey home - so come and explore the grounds and see what you can find!

Mini Beast Hunts run from 2pm to 4pm on Wednesdays and Fridays throughout August.
Wednesdays in August - 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th
Fridays in August - 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th
Mini Beast Hunts are free and no booking is required. Admission or membership of the abbey is required for entry to the abbey grounds.
All children must be accompanied by an adult throughout the session.
