Hærfest: A Celebration of Autumn

Celebrate the changing seasons with Hærfest - a gathering to honour the harvest and ancient traditions. There'll be crafts and fireside baking in the spirit of Lammas and Lughnasah.

What to Expect
Seasonal Rituals – Bless and protect the Longhall for the coming months.
Traditional Crafts – Have a go at weaving corn dollies, a historical craft and harvest tradition dating back to ancient times.
Fireside Baking – Learn how to make simple bannocks, a simple and hearty bread.
Ancient Traditions – Discover the significance of Lammas and Lughnasah, ancient festivals marking the harvest.
