We bring you 3 of the best Acts on the LGBTQ+ scene.
Dryadic
Bristol and Gloucestershire’s rising alt-folk trio Dryadic weave an infectious blend of rootsy folk and melodic pop, driven by lush strings, keys, and soaring vocal harmonies. Their sound is rich with vibrant fiddle lines and a pop sensibility that makes every track stick. From the heartfelt, empowering anthem ‘Rainbow Family’ – a celebration of chosen family, queer community, and misfit resilience (instantly added to the BBC Introducing West and Orbit playlists, earning rave reviews) – to their latest singles ‘Good To Be Alive’ and ‘Mansplain’, Dryadic are known for getting rooms on their feet, singing and dancing wherever they go.
Dead Rubber Dolls
Fusing an array of genres, our sound
“echoes the experimental daring of
bands like System of a Down”, while
retaining our unmistakable signature
sound and provocative songwriting
across the sphere of rock and metal.
Lyle
Multi-instrumentalist producer Lyle Anderton wears a heart on their sleeve kinda fella. A
member of Bristol's contemporary Jazz scene, they have spent years developing in this
hotpot, ready to take new steps in new directions. Their music is Queer-centred, humorous,
surreal and looks to combine UK Jazz,West-coast soul, and latin and african rhythms. Often
heralded as a complimentary sonic accompaniment for fans of Jacob Collier, Thundercat,
David Bowie.
A true cross section of the scene with something for everyone.
