Pretty Early makes its long-awaited return with all the best pop, indie and disco bops from the Pretty Ugly DJs – minus the taxi queues and next-day dread.
Expect everything from ABBA to Arctics, Bowie to Blondie, Chappell to Charli – plus a stack of Pride anthems and summer bangers – all in a hangover-friendly time slot.
Perfect for post-Pride partying, busy parents, out-of-towners, or anyone who loves a proper night’s sleep as much as a proper night out.
Saturday 19th July | Oran Mor | 6pm – 10pm | Tickets £8.50
About Pretty Ugly DJs:
Pretty Ugly was one of Glasgow’s longest-running alternative club nights, an indie-pop institution and the city’s best-kept secret. Launched in 2016 as the more sensible sister to their riotous Admiral Bar parties, Pretty Early is a "Club Night on a Curfew”.
Since 2005, the Pretty Ugly DJs have shared decks with Mel Blatt (All Saints), Lisa Scott-Lee (Steps), Marnie (Ladytron), Emmy-Kate & Marie (Kenickie), Manda Rin (Bis), Aidan Moffat (Arab Strap) and even Kirsty Wark (Newsnight).
Following their 2020 hiatus, Aarti hosts the Sunday Session on Go Radio, while Elle Jo ran Obsession at SWG3 and supported the legendary Pet Shop Boys, Sugababes, Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Bananarama.
Named one of “Glasgow’s must-visit clubbing locations” in Red Bull’s Keys to Your City guide, Pretty Ugly has also featured in NME, Elle Magazine and on BBC Radio 6 Music.
“The wildest, most eclectic and downright fun party ever” — Sunday Mail, 7 Nights
