Play Cafe

Saturday 30 August - Saturday 20 December 2025 / 11.15am - 12pm

Bring your wee ones along and have the time and space to enjoy creative activities together in our studio spaces at Platform. Expect something different each week, from performance, dance, music to art and craft activities for babies and toddlers, led by Platform’s associate artists.

It doesn’t matter if you are a parent, grandparent, carer, auntie or uncle - everyone is welcome and it's a great way to get your weekend off to a good start! Complimentary healthy drinks and snacks provided from the Platform Cafe Bar.

Classes are booked weekly - tickets for the following week's class go on sale on the Saturday before. Please book for the total number of people attending (i.e. carer/parent and child count as two attendees). BOOKING DETAILS | PAY-WHAT-YOU-LIKE

These sessions are offered on a Pay-What-You-Like basis, where you decide what to pay. As a guide, we recommend a payment of £5 per class. Pay online or at the class itself in cash (we have a donations box to drop payment into) or by card - you can either pay for all classes booked upfront or pay each week. Please note you must pre book your space before attending - please do not attend until you have booking confirmation.
